After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening, our representative will conduct a detailed briefing on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra to prepare you for the journey ahead.

At the break of dawn, you will be transferred to Nepalgunj Airport to board your flight to Simikot. Upon arrival, take some time to rest and gently acclimate in this serene mountain town, nestled amidst the breathtaking Himalayan foothills.

Next, embark on a breathtaking helicopter journey from Simikot to Hilsa, a vital border town where the spiritual essence of your yatra truly begins to deepen. After regrouping with fellow pilgrims, commence your drive to Purang — a place rich in ancient cultural heritage and spiritual significance.

• Nepalgunj to Simikot: Approximately 40–50 minutes by fixed-wing aircraft
• Simikot to Hilsa: Scenic 10–20 minute helicopter ride offering panoramic views of the Himalayas

You will arrive at Purang by evening, where you will rest comfortably at Hotel Purang, Hotel Himalaya, or a similarly welcoming accommodation — preparing you to embrace the next stage of your sacred journey.

Today is about finding your balance in Purang’s serene surroundings. Take the time to physically adjust to the elevation and mentally prepare for the challenges of the Kailash Parikrama. A brief walk can help ease your body into the rhythm of the journey ahead.

Purang’s marketplace offers essential gear and supplies—trekking poles, water containers for sacred Mansarovar waters, and more. Engage with locals and navigate the markets confidently; bargaining here is part of the experience.

Begin the day with a comfortable drive of approximately two hours in an air-conditioned Volvo bus from Purang to the revered Mansarovar Lake. Upon arrival, prepare to undertake the sacred parikrama—a 105 km circumambulation around this holy lake, an act of deep spiritual significance.

Take a cleansing dip in the pristine waters of Mansarovar and perform heartfelt pujas to honor the divine energy that permeates this sacred site. As you approach the lake, catch your first breathtaking view of the majestic Kailash Parvat—a sight that stirs profound reverence and awe.

Spend the night at a guest house near Mansarovar Lake, surrounded by the serene spiritual ambiance. Weather permitting, experience the tranquil beauty of the lake either late at night or during Brahm Muhurt (pre-dawn hours), a time considered especially auspicious for meditation and prayer.

After a brief drive from the tranquil shores of Mansarovar Lake, arrive at Darchen—the starting point for the revered Kailash Parikrama and the sacred Ashtapad darshan. This humble town serves as the spiritual basecamp where pilgrims gather their strength and focus for the journey ahead.

Visiting Ashtapad is subject to special permission from Chinese authorities and will be included if granted.

Rest overnight in the comfort of Hotel Himalaya or a similar establishment, preparing yourself for the transformative trek to come.

Rise early and travel to Yamdwar, the gateway to the sacred Parikrama of Mount Kailash. From here, embark on the first stretch of the pilgrimage — a 10 km trek around the base of the mountain. Witness the awe-inspiring North Face of Mount Kailash, considered the most auspicious and spiritually powerful side, a sight that leaves devotees deeply blessed and enlightened.

For those who prefer not to trek, transportation back to Darchen is available—a short 30-minute journey. Pilgrims resting in Darchen will spend two nights in a guesthouse, enjoying serene views of Kailash Parvat and engaging in puja rituals from this vantage point.

Note: Parikrama participation is flexible. Some may choose to walk, others may ride horses, and some, especially elders, may opt to stay in Darchen. Meals and accommodation will be provided accordingly. Those in Darchen will rejoin the main group after completing the third day of Parikrama.

On the second day of your Kailash Parikrama, prepare for a demanding trek spanning around 22 kilometers, starting from Dirapuk and crossing the highest point of the journey — the Dolma La Pass, which sits at an altitude of approximately 18,600 feet. This stretch is considered the most physically intense part of the pilgrimage.

The initial climb to the pass is steep and challenging, covering the first 6 to 7 kilometers. Take steady steps, pace yourself carefully, and rest as often as needed to safely conquer this ascent. Beyond Dolma La Pass, the terrain eases, and the trail descends gradually through peaceful landscapes towards Zuthulpuk.

During the trek, you will encounter Shivasthal, a spiritually significant place believed to bless offerings with divine rewards. You will also pass Gauri Kund, a sacred spring symbolizing purity and devotion. Along this path, the majestic East face of Mount Kailash reveals itself, inspiring awe and reverence.

After completing this day’s journey, you will rest overnight in comfortable guesthouse accommodation at Zuthulpuk, reflecting on the profound spiritual experiences of the day.

On the third day of your Kailash Parikrama, begin with an invigorating yet manageable 8 km trek, typically completed by mid-morning. This sacred stretch symbolizes the closing of the Parikrama circle around Mount Kailash, offering moments for reflection and gratitude.

After completing the trek, you will be driven back to Purang via Darchen, soaking in the serene landscape that has witnessed your spiritual journey. Rest and rejuvenate overnight at Hotel Purang or Hotel Himalaya, preparing your mind and body for the days ahead.

After breakfast, depart from Hilsa by comfortable AC luxury vehicle and transfer to Simikot via helicopter. From Simikot, catch your connecting flights back to Nepalgunj and then onward to Kathmandu.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check in to your hotel for a restful overnight stay at a 4-star property such as Hotel Shankar, Hotel Royal Singi, or a similar hotel, concluding your sacred journey with comfort and ease.

After a memorable and spiritually fulfilling journey, you are now free to proceed to your onward destination with the divine blessings of Lord Shiva.
