After an early breakfast, embark on a spiritually enriching sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. The day includes visits to some of the most sacred Hindu temples and divine landmarks:

• Pashupatinath Temple – One of the holiest shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, where pilgrims from across the world gather to seek blessings before beginning the Kailash Yatra.
• Jal Narayan Temple (Budhanilkantha) – Known for the sacred floating statue of Lord Vishnu resting on the cosmic serpent.
• Additional visits may include local heritage temples and cultural sites that deepen your connection with the spiritual roots of the journey.

In the evening, finalize your preparations and packing for the sacred overland yatra to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar.

After an early morning breakfast, begin your sacred overland journey from the spiritual capital, Kathmandu, toward the mystical Himalayas.

We drive through the winding mountain roads and lush green valleys, heading toward either:

• Dhunche (approx. 130 km, 6 hours, altitude: 2,000 m)
  or
• Syabrubesi (approx. 145 km, 6.5 hours, altitude: 1,600 m)

Both are tranquil mountain towns located in the Rasuwa District, close to the Nepal–Tibet border. En route, soak in the natural beauty and let the serene Himalayan landscape begin to prepare your soul for the divine experience ahead.

Overnight stay at a local guest house in Dhunche or Syabrubesi, offering basic amenities in a peaceful setting ideal for rest and spiritual reflection. your sacred journey

Begin your day with a scenic drive from Syabrubesi to Rasuwagadhi, nestled at 1,800 meters above sea level. This 15 km journey takes about 45 minutes and leads you to the gateway of your divine pilgrimage.

At Rasuwagadhi, complete the immigration and customs formalities as you respectfully exit Nepal and enter the sacred lands of Tibet—a moment that marks a profound transition on your Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

From here, continue onward to Kyirong County, ascending to an elevation of 3,950 meters over a 3-hour journey covering 105 km. The landscapes here unfold in breathtaking vistas, filled with serene mountains and spiritual energy that prepares your heart and mind for the journey ahead.

Rest and rejuvenate with an overnight stay at a comfortable hotel in Kyirong County, embracing the quietude of this highland sanctuary.

Today is dedicated to allowing your body and soul to harmonize with the high-altitude energies of Kyirong County. This vital day of acclimatization is a moment to rest, reflect, and prepare your spirit for the sacred journey ahead.

You may choose to take gentle, short treks around the serene surroundings, inviting your heart to connect deeply with the pristine Himalayan air and the spiritual essence that fills this land.

Spend the night in comfortable repose at your hotel, replenishing your strength for the transformative path toward Mount Kailash.

After a nourishing breakfast, embark on a profound journey to Dongba, traversing approximately 335 km over 7 hours. Along the way, witness the majestic Thorong La, the serene Paige-Tso Lake, and the mighty Brahmaputra River — each a sacred landmark steeped in natural beauty and spiritual significance.

This passage through the heart of Tibet’s divine terrain is a time to absorb the tranquil energies surrounding you. Rest and rejuvenate with an overnight stay at a welcoming hotel such as Xixa Panama, Mu Being Chung, or a similar refuge.

Rise early to begin your sacred journey toward the pristine shores of Mansarovar Lake. The drive of about 7 hours will lead you through breathtaking landscapes that prepare your mind and soul for the divine experience ahead.

Upon arrival, you will embark on the Parikrama (circumambulation) of the holy Mansarovar Lake by vehicle—a 105 km spiritual circuit that typically takes 2 to 3 hours. This sacred journey allows you to immerse yourself in the tranquil energy of the lake, renowned for its purifying and healing powers.

As dusk settles, rest at a guest house near the lake, where you will be blessed with your first awe-inspiring glimpse of the majestic Mount Kailash, standing as a timeless symbol of spiritual ascent and enlightenment.

Begin your day with a serene early morning visit to the tranquil shores of Mansarovar Lake to witness the sacred stillness and spiritual aura that envelop this divine place at dawn.

In the afternoon, take a purifying dip in the holy waters of Lake Mansarovar, believed to cleanse the soul and wash away past karmas. Participate in heartfelt puja rituals, invoking blessings and connecting deeply with the divine energy of the lake.

Following this sacred communion, embark on a peaceful 2-hour drive to Darchen, the gateway and base camp for the revered Kailash Parikrama. Rest and rejuvenate overnight at your hotel, preparing for the spiritual journey that lies ahead.

Subject to permission from Chinese authorities, the day begins with a drive to Ashtapad, a sacred site of deep spiritual significance. If the permit is not granted, we will proceed with a short drive from Lake Mansarovar to Yamdwar, where your Parikrama trek of approximately 10 kilometers to Dirapuk begins.

As you walk this blessed path, be spiritually uplifted by the divine darshan of the North Face of Mount Kailash — an experience regarded as supremely auspicious and transformative.

For those who choose not to undertake the Parikrama, a comfortable journey from Yamdwar back to Darchen awaits, just a short 30-minute drive. Here, you will stay for two nights in a peaceful guest house, with uninterrupted views of the holy Mount Kailash — offering a sacred space for rest, reflection, and puja.

Please Note:
Parikrama is optional and can be done on foot or horseback, depending on your preference and ability. Elderly or those unable to trek can rest in Darchen and still partake in the spiritual atmosphere. Meals and accommodation are arranged for all.

Participants staying at Darchen will reunite with the main group after completing the third day of Parikrama, joining in the final stages of this sacred journey.

Rise early on this pivotal day of your Kailash Parikrama journey. Today’s trek spans approximately 22 kilometers, beginning from Dirapuk and leading you over the majestic Dolma La Pass, standing at an awe-inspiring altitude of 5,600 meters (18,600 feet), before descending to the serene Gauri Kund and onward to Zuthulpuk.

This segment is known as the most challenging stretch of the pilgrimage, with the initial 6 to 7 kilometers involving a steep and demanding ascent. Pilgrims are encouraged to pace themselves gently, listen to their bodies, and take rest whenever needed, honoring the sacredness of both the journey and the terrain.

Beyond the pass, the trail mellows into a graceful descent, guiding you beside a peaceful river towards Zuthulpuk — a journey that offers breathtaking views and a sense of spiritual fulfillment.

Along the way, you will pass through Shivasthal, a revered sacred site in Tibetan tradition, believed to grant heavenly blessings for offerings made here. The path also leads you to Gauri Kund, a tranquil place of divine energy. From this vantage, the East Face of Mount Kailash reveals its serene grandeur, filling your heart with reverence and awe.

Overnight Stay: Lodge or Guest House at Zuthulpuk.

On the third and final day of your Mount Kailash Parikrama, you will embark on a gentle trek of approximately 8 kilometers, taking around three hours to complete. Most pilgrims finish this sacred circumambulation by mid-morning, around 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

After completing this profound spiritual journey, we will drive to Darchen to reunite with fellow travelers who chose not to undertake the Parikrama. From there, the journey continues onward to Dongba (Saga), crossing through the stunning Tibetan landscape.

Overnight accommodations will be arranged at a comfortable hotel such as Xixa Panama, Mu Being Chung, or a similar establishment, allowing you rest and reflection after the transformative experience of the Parikrama.

Begin your journey back as you drive approximately 270 km over 5.5 hours to Kyirong County. This route offers a serene passage through the breathtaking Himalayan foothills, giving you time to reflect on the sacred experiences of your Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

Overnight stay will be arranged at a comfortable hotel in Kyirong, providing rest and rejuvenation as you prepare for the next leg of your spiritual journey.

After completing immigration formalities at the Rasuwagadhi border, embark on your scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Covering approximately 265 km in 8 to 10 hours, this journey offers a chance to absorb the memories and blessings from your sacred Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage.

Overnight stay will be arranged at a comfortable 3-star hotel in Kathmandu, where you can relax and reflect on your transformative yatra experience.

After breakfast, you will have free time until your scheduled flight. Our representative will arrange your transfer to Kathmandu Airport, ensuring you arrive 1 to 2 hours prior to your flight departure (approximately 30 minutes drive).
